Our vial cap removal tool ("decapper") is specially-designed for safely removing injection vial caps & crimps. While many people are tempted to use whatever bottle opener they may have around the house, the size, opening, and sheer torque that they provide is not ideal and often results in breaking/shattering the borosilicate glass used in injection vials. This tool avoids those problems when you need to remove a cap or crimp.

This tool comes in handy when there is product remaining in the vial that you want to get out but can't with a syringe. It's also great for simply removing flip caps from vials for anyone who might have difficulty due to arthritis, diabetic neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, or nicely manicured fingernails.

It's made of stainless steel and compact enough to fit on a key ring. Finish will vary; some are very shiny while others have a more tumbled appearance.
